About:
If asked asked her age she will say she is ten. If asked about her mother Emeth will say her Mother is loves her and is a very powerful witch. Emeth believes all these things are true.
The problem is Emeth has been “ten years old” from the moment she was created 250 years ago.

In Emeth’s world there are 8 Great Witches that are effectively immortal, unless they have a biological child. When one of the Great Witches has a child the magic that sustains them becomes shared between the two. And when the daughter reaches adulthood the magic shifts to them and the mother starts ageing.

Emeth’s mother sought to cheat, and instead of having a child naturally she make daughter out of clay and two soul shards one from herself and one from her lover. And she was successful! For a while. However when her father (Who she does not remember) died part of her died with him, leaving her an emotionless husk. Her mother started to think of her more a doll, or a tool than a child. But over time Emeth started to show emotions again… and then started using her mother’s magic.

Even though Emeth was made out of clay she still had a shard of her mother’s soul, and like a cutting of a plant it was growing, maturing.
And her mother is doing all she can to stop that from happening from sealing away her emotions to wiping her memories.

She thinks she’s been successful, but she’s only delaying the enviable.

Emeth has a pet dog, Tiny, he's a stuffed toy that is animated by the soud of a real dog, it can shrink to the perfect carrying size and grow as big as a horse. Emeth thinks he was made to be a companion. He was actually a test run of the process that ended with the creation of Emeth.
