[Katsuki would just show up to Emeth's home unannounced with said gift in tow but he decides to see if the girl is even there, first!]

Hi Katsuki! I'm home.

Oooo! Did you get me a present?

That's right.

Because I'm the best big brother on the dang planet, I made sure to get you something from the charity auction. And I'll be over with it in a few.

[Katsuki was very excited, admittedly, to give this to Emeth. He's never really been the kind to buy gifts for other people, so he's also a little nervous that she might end up hating it.. what if she's too old for fairytale books?

Whatever. He's going to bring it over, anyway!! And he's already on the move after sending that text to her.]

If you're the best big brother does that mean I'm the best little sister?

[Emeth will be waiting for Katsuki just outside the door throwing a ball for her three legged plush dog to chase.]

Duh! If you're part of my family, you're going to be the best!

[Well... maybe not his biological family. But his found family is definitely the best!! No doubt!!

After sending that, Katsuki will put his phone in his pocket and walk briskly the rest of the way to her home. Getting there soon enough, and stopping a few feet from the door where he spots her playing outside with her plush dog. He'll call out to her, then.]

Emeth?

[Katsuki is holding a bag in his hand that's pretty darn big, filled with pink tissue paper. His right arm also is now mechanical, though it can't move much beyond bending the elbow.]

[ Emeth looks up at the sound of her name, smiling happily when she sees him, her eyes flick to his arm for a moment but that doesn't stop her from running over to Katsuki and throwing her arms around him. ]

Katsuki!

[ She tries to look nothing but happy to see her but her smile fades into a worried expression as she looks at that arm again. Instead of the big bag that was obviously for her. ]

Did... did a nice person make that arm?

[boombam]

[Katsuki smiles a little bit when Emeth runs to give him a hug, and he set her gift down so he can then reach with his non-robotic hand to ruffle her hair. It's still new for him to receive hugs like this, so it's a little stiff, but he then returns it the best he can.

And when Emeth mentions his arm, he gives her another soft ruffle of the hair to try and reassure her that he's alright as he explains. His smile widening, even.]

Yeah, super nice. Her name's Winry, who saw that I needed help and made it for me. And I can already move it, which means it's healing perfectly.

[He gently pulls back from the embrace so he can show her how he can move the elbow.]

It's really cool, see? Nothin' to worry over.

Good.

[ Emeth tries to reach for the metal hand comparing the size of it to her own if Katsuki lets her. ]

You shouldn't take help from people who aren't good they hold it over you...

[ Emeth shakes her head and the serious expression vanishes as if it never was. ]
